OKC Metro Hockey League
The Oklahoma City Metro Hockey League is a recreational league focused on providing a fun, low-pressure environment for youth players to enjoy the game of hockey. It emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship without the demands of travel or high-level competition.

High School (2007–2011 Birth Years)
Players may be moved based on need/skill as determined by the hockey director

Fall season: September 29, 2025 - December 14, 2025
Winter Season: January 5, 2026 - March 15, 2026
Where
All Practices and Games will be played at Arctic Edge
Practices
Each team will have one practice per week, totaling 10 practices for the season, with two teams sharing the ice during each session.
During the first week, players will take part in two evaluation practices, which will be used to help determine team placements.
Games
Each team will participate in 9 regular season games followed by 3 playoff games.
The playoffs will be structured as a tournament, culminating in a championship game between the top two teams
TEAM SELECTION
Players will be evaluated during the first week of the season, with coaches assessing skill levels and gameplay. At the end of the week, a draft will be held for coaches to select their teams based on these evaluations.
JERSEYS
Players will wear the new OKC Metro Hockey League reversible jerseys for both practices and games.

Fall 2025 Season
The Oklahoma City Metro Hockey League is a recreational league focused on providing a fun, low-pressure environment for youth players to enjoy the game of hockey. It emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship without the demands of travel or high-level competition.
This Registration will cover the Fall Season for 10U and older players (Players born between 2007 and 2016). The cost will be $544 and will include the season, jersey, and socks.
Players in our 8U Program (Born between 2017 and 2021) will register for BOTH the Fall and Winter seasons. The cost will be $944 and will include the season, jersey, and socks.

Fall Enhancement Session
The OKC Metro Enhancement sessions are returning for the Fall 2025 season. Participants will be able to get an additional practice each week under the guidance of the OKCYHA development director, Josh Berge. The intent will be to keep the coach to player ratio as low as possible and provide additional skill development for those players wishing to get additional ice time above and beyond the practices and games offered in the OKC Metro Hockey League.
