OKC Metro Hockey League

The Oklahoma City Metro Hockey League is a recreational league focused on providing a fun, low-pressure environment for youth players to enjoy the game of hockey. It emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship without the demands of travel or high-level competition.

Where
All Practices and Games will be played at Arctic Edge
Practices
Each team will have one practice per week, totaling 10 practices for the season, with two teams sharing the ice during each session.
During the first week, players will take part in two evaluation practices, which will be used to help determine team placements.
Games
Each team will participate in 9 regular season games followed by 3 playoff games.
The playoffs will be structured as a tournament, culminating in a championship game between the top two teams
Jerseys
Players will wear the new OKC Metro Hockey League reversible jerseys for both practices and games.
Team Selection
Players will be evaluated during the first week of the season, with coaches assessing skill levels and gameplay. At the end of the week, a draft will be held for coaches to select their teams based on these evaluations.
